SENADOR GUIOMARD, ACRE, BRAZIL – JANUARY 6, 2023 Several witnesses saw their 15-year-old neighbor, Sara dos Santos Silva, walking in the dark, accompanied by two young men, on the dirt road behind her house. Then two shots were fired. The neighbours waited for nothing and called the police to the scene.

At first the police had great difficulty finding their way around the place, so the neighbours helped them to get to the place from where the shots were heard. Unfortunately, Sara was found dead there. There was a gunshot mark on her head from a close range shot.
Sara’s parents, as well as neighbours, said that Sara was a very decent girl who led a normal and orderly life. None of them understood what motive the killers could have had.
