MANAUS, AMAZONAS, BRAZIL – MAY 6, 2025 Group of about 15 armed men stormed the house of 17-year-old Gabriel dos Santos Figueira, where they executed him with several shots to the head. His desperate mother stated that the victim’s brother, who had been killed a few months earlier, was involved in drug trafficking. According to her, however, Gabriel had nothing to do with it.
The incident took place on Japará Street in the municipality of Valparaíso, in the Jorge Teixeira district.
