CURAÇÁ, BAHIA, BRAZIL – JULY 21, 2025 22-year-old Willianne de Oliveira Marques was killed by a stab wound to the neck while she was sitting in front of a bar on Coronel Militão Gonçalves Torres Street.

The attacker has not been identified, but witnesses stated that it was a woman. She reportedly approached the victim casually, suddenly yelled “shut up,” stabbed her once in the neck, and fled the scene. Willianne began bleeding heavily but still tried to walk away. After covering a few feet, however, she collapsed. She died before emergency services arrived.
Police believe the motive might have been revenge. The main suspect is said to be a teenage girl whose mother died in 2021. Willianne was investigated in connection with that case, but it was never resolved.
A bystander recorded the final moments of her life on video, showing her lying in a pool of her own blood. What’s shocking is that instead of helping, the person chose to film. If you ever find yourself in a similar situation, don’t be like him – try to stop the bleeding and help.
