MARABÁ, PARÁ, BRAZIL – JULY 16, 2025 24-year-old woman, Alany Souza Lima, was found hanged in her home in the Folha 28 neighborhood of the Nova Marabá area. According to statements from her family and friends, Alany was deeply shaken by a recent breakup and was unable to cope with the pain.

A doctor called to the scene confirmed her death, and her body was taken to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for an autopsy. The case is still under police investigation, but it is almost certain that it will be ruled a suicide.
