SANTANA, AMAPÁ, BRAZIL – SEPTEMBER 15, 2021 CCTV video shows the moment when Ana Júlia Pantoja, a girl of only 5 years old, was shot in the head. She was calmly walking along the pier, holding a cake in her hand, when suddenly she falls to the ground and starts bleeding. Immediately people run to her, but there is no way to help her.

The shooter managed to escape the scene. A very intensive police search began, lasting almost 24 hours. Two 19-year-old boys, Flávio Ferrerira Teodósio and Goodofredo Barbosa do Nascimento, were caught. While Flávio was the shooter, Goodofredo provided him with the murder weapon. Both claim that the shot fired towards the girl was accidental and that a shootout was taking place at the scene. However, according to the CCTV footage, this is not true as the residents are calm until Ana falls to the ground.
