SUDAN Another of many leaked videos from Sudan shows a member of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) executing a civilian. Recently, such recorded cases have been increasingly frequent. Some human rights organizations consider the situation in Sudan to be genocide.
In the civil war, the SAF and RSF are fighting each other. They were once allies and together overthrew then-president Omar al-Bashir. However, they later failed to agree on who would take power in the country.
Although civilians suffer greatly from both sides, the RSF uses their killings more systematically and frequently as a method of warfare.
