BOGOTÁ, COLOMBIA Fatal traffic accident occurred on Fontibón Road, between Boyacá Avenue and 24B Street. A woman on a motorcycle was overlooked and hit by a truck driver. Unfortunately, she fell directly under the trailer’s wheels and was crushed to death on the spot.
The victim
Motorcyclists are among the most vulnerable road users and are easy to miss, especially by large vehicles like trucks with trailers. Keep this in mind every time you ride a motorcycle, and try to anticipate and think ahead for other drivers.
