PALAUIG, ZAMBALES, PHILIPPINES – AUGUST 14, 2025 In a roadside canal in the Salaza area, a passerby discovered the bodies of two women dumped there. At first glance, it was clear they had been murdered, both bearing gunshot wounds.
Police identified the victims as 24-year-old Elena and Leleng, both local residents. At the scene, five empty .45 caliber shell casings were found, indicating they were executed right there.
A resident from a nearby village reported being awakened around 3 a.m. by a passing vehicle, and moments later he heard what sounded like gunshots. Police are currently continuing their intensive investigation.
