WILMINGTON, DELAWARE, USA – AUGUST 23, 2025 On the 1600 block of Delaware Avenue, shortly after midnight, a violent fight broke out between two men. Although one of them was already unconscious and unable to defend himself, the other continued attacking, landing sharp blows to his face.
The incident was not reported to the police, but thanks to witnesses who recorded it on video and posted it online, the footage eventually reached law enforcement. The police are treating the case seriously as an attempted murder.
Based solely on the video, authorities successfully identified and contacted the victim and have opened a criminal investigation against an unknown assailant. Police are urging anyone with information about the case, who recognizes the attacker, or witnessed the event, to contact them by any means.
