SANARATE, EL PROGRESO, GUATEMALA – SEPTEMBER 6, 2025 22-year-old motorcyclist identified as Jonathan Josué Orellana Falla died in a tragic accident in the city of Sanarate. He lost control of his motorcycle at high speed and crashed into the wall of a family house in the Conacastón neighborhood. The impact was so strong that the motorcycle broke through the wall. He suffered fatal injuries. Several witnesses recorded his final moments, or rather his last agonizing movements, on video.

Initial investigations suggest that Jonathan may have been participating in illegal motorcycle races. The owner of the damaged house said he had often seen Jonathan riding through the same area, dangerously and at very high speeds.
