VIETNAM Couple riding a moped was, for reasons still unclear, struck and fatally crushed by a truck. The woman suffered a catastrophic head injury – her skull fractured and her brain was thrown onto the road. The man was dragged several feet by the truck, sustaining a fatal head wound as well, and his internal organs were forced out under the vehicle’s weight.
Although the footage from the accident is extremely graphic, it serves as a stark reminder of the importance of following basic road safety rules. Motorcyclists are among the most vulnerable road users and can easily be overlooked by other drivers. It is essential to anticipate, think ahead for others, and remain vigilant at all times. Stay safe.
