Man caught heart attack while playing badminton

HYDERABAD, TELANGANA, INDIA Guy identified as Gundila was playing recreational badminton with his friends at the Nagola Stadium. Suddenly, he collapsed. His friends immediately called an ambulance, but unfortunately did not provide proper first aid in the form of effective chest compressions. He was pronounced dead after being transported to the hospital.

The incident, captured by a security camera, highlights an important truth: human life is fragile and can end unexpectedly. We should cherish every moment of our own lives and those of our loved ones. Don’t postpone meaningful things like mending family relationships or enjoying precious experiences.

Another crucial fact is that heart attacks and cardiac issues can often be prevented through a healthy lifestyle and regular medical checkups. Athletes sometimes die needlessly when they overstrain their hearts despite having an undiagnosed condition that could easily be detected in advance.

The event also shows how important it is to recognize the signs of a heart attack and know how to provide first aid in such cases. If the victim still shows vital signs and has a pulse, it’s essential to call emergency services immediately, monitor their condition until help arrives, and keep them calm and conscious through reassurance and conversation.

The real fight for life, however, begins when the victim loses their pulse. It takes only a few minutes for brain cells to start dying irreversibly due to the lack of blood circulation. In such cases, it is crucial to begin chest compressions without delay.
