PHNOM PENH, CAMBODIA – OCTOBER 10, 2025 Collision between a motorcycle and a truck occurred in the early morning hours on Veng Sreng Street in the Mean Chey district. Unfortunately, the accident claimed the lives of two young men – the motorcycle driver and his passenger. One of them suffered a serious head injury and died before the emergency services arrived. Random bystanders recorded his final moments on video. The other one died on the spot under the wheels of the truck.

The incident once again highlights the importance of wearing helmets and protective gear when riding a motorcycle. If he had worn a helmet, at least one of them might have survived. Don’t neglect this – follow traffic rules, and every time you get on a motorcycle, remember that life is the most precious thing you have.
