PERU Tuk-tuk driver suffered a serious eye injury in a minor accident. Even a small impact was enough for him to hit his head on the side mirror and pierce his eye with the screw holding it in place. Although he survived, his eye unfortunately couldn’t be saved.
The incident highlights the importance of following traffic regulations and basic road safety rules. It also draws attention to the risks posed by alternative means of transport such as tuk-tuks. While they are a popular form of transportation in some countries, their construction often doesn’t meet the safety standards of developed nations.
