MYANMAR (BURMA) Myanmar has become a haven for scammers and organized crime groups in recent years. Due to the civil war, the country has many areas with virtually no government oversight. On top of that, labor is extremely cheap, and the country borders massive economies like China and Thailand.
We’re not talking about a few people hiding in a hut in the rainforest. Scam centers have emerged that employ thousands of people and generate billions in revenue. This year, near the Thai border, the Myanmar army shut down a complex known as KK Park. Two thousand people were arrested, and 30 Starlink satellite terminals were seized.
One member of such a gang is shown in this video. He was caught by two angry men whom he had previously scammed. While one of them brutally beats him, the other holds a pistol to his head.
