GHANA The driver of a van carrying passengers lost control of his vehicle and rolled it onto its side. Fortunately, no one died, but one of the female passengers suffered a partial scalp injury when her dreadlock got caught on something. The exact circumstances of the accident are not yet known.
Similar injuries in traffic accidents most often occur when passengers are not wearing a seat belt, which can hold a person in place during a crash. Even though some countries do not legally require it or do not enforce the law, it is strongly recommended to use seat belts. Your life and health are the most valuable things you have – fastening your seat belt is the least you can do to protect it.
