SIVAS, TURKEY When the outdoor temperature dropped below -4 °F (-20 °C), the operator of a breakfast bistro in the Kızılırmak district, Raşit Yıldırım, decided to test it. Inspired by similar videos on YouTube and other social media platforms, he threw hot water into the air to show that it would freeze before hitting the ground. During the attempt, however, the hot water spilled onto him. He caused burns to his arm and back.
Although his injuries can be classified as minor, they were definitely very painful. His story should serve as a warning to anyone who might think about copying similar crazy tests. Always think about the consequences of your actions and do not expose yourself to risks in the pursuit of likes on social media.
