ARISTIDES BASTIDAS, YARACUY, VENEZUELA – JANUARY 23, 2026 Serious accident occurred when a private car collided with an ambulance. The ambulance driver, Néstor Parra, suffered severe injuries and died after being transported to the hospital. Two other passengers in the ambulance, Juan Rojas and Alexander Vásquez, were seriously injured; Rojas sustained moderate polytrauma, and Vásquez was taken to the hospital for treatment.
According to witnesses, the ambulance was traveling in the opposite lane due to the car losing control and crossing into oncoming traffic. Firefighters and the National Guard responded at the scene, attending to the injured and investigating the cause of the accident.
