SAN PEDRO DE LOS ALTOS, VENEZUELA – FEBRUARY 4, 2026 Dramatic accident occurred in which 47-year-old donut seller Juan Carlos Jiménez Guarima was struck by a Fiat whose brakes had failed. The man was crossing the street when the car first collided with an SUV and then hit him. He was thrown several feet and suffered multiple fractures.
Witnesses immediately intervened and called for help. Jiménez Guarima was taken to Victorino Santaella Hospital, where he underwent surgery and now requires intensive care and support during recovery. The Fiat driver, who lost control of the vehicle, remained in shock at the wheel after the accident.
The victim is a father of five, and his family is now seeking funds to cover treatment and other recovery-related expenses.
