MEXICO Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, better known as “El Mencho”, is the founder and leader of the notorious drug cartel CJNG. He is responsible for kidnappings, murders, drug trafficking, and many other criminal activities. He is currently considered one of the world’s most wanted criminals, with a $15 million reward offered for him in the United States.
The video allegedly shows him being brutally interrogated and tortured by a rival cartel. They drip melted plastic onto him, causing unbearable pain.
However, the authenticity of the video has never been verified. Cartels often use body doubles as part of propaganda and to protect their top leaders. It also remains a fact that El Mencho is most likely still alive.
