CHINA Dead body of a teenage girl was found at the bottom of a rocky ravine. When forensic experts arrived at the scene, at first glance it was already clear to them that it was more than just an accident. She was naked from the waist down and showed much greater injuries than would have been caused by a fall.
For these reasons, it was decided to carry out an autopsy at the place of discovery. This brings a number of advantages, such as faster securing of evidence, securing traces that could be destroyed during transport, and last but not least the possibility to see the body in connection with the surroundings of the discovery. Among the disadvantages are a non-sterile environment and the possibility of contamination.
The autopsy proved both injuries caused by violence, as well as defensive injuries and injuries caused by the fall, respectively being thrown from the cliff. Besides that, sexual violence was also proven, when mainly her rectum showed traces of violent penetration. The exact cause of death, nor information about revealing the perpetrator, were never published.
