BEIT LAHIA, GAZA STRIP, PALESTINE – APRIL 9, 2026 9-year-old Palestinian girl, Ritaj Rihan, was killed by a stray bullet during her stay in an improvised school made up of large tents instead of classrooms. The incident happened during ongoing lessons in front of the teacher and classmates.

While pro-Palestinian media blame the IDF for her death, the Israeli side has not commented on the incident so far. It should be noted that the deaths of children are often used in this war by pro-Palestinian propaganda, where Israel is automatically blamed without proper evidence.
