KINSHASA, NGALIEMA, DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO – MARCH 26, 2026 Inside a waste ditch near the National Pedagogical University, the corpse of a woman was found by a random passerby. The discovery sparked strong emotions among local residents, who gathered at the scene and pulled her out themselves even before the police arrived.
According to their testimony, the woman had multiple stab wounds, which points to an act of violent crime. The case is currently the subject of an intensive police investigation. So far, however, it has not been possible to confirm the identity of the victim.
