Treatment of traumatic amputation without anesthesia

UKRAINE Russian soldier suffered a traumatic amputation of his lower limb during fighting in Ukraine. He was transported in critical condition to a field hospital, where doctors carried out the necessary steps to stabilize him and transfer him to Russia. At the time, for unknown reasons, they had no anesthesia available and had to treat him without it. For the injured soldier, this meant unbearable and agonizing pain.
