Brutal aftermath of machete attack

PARAUAPEBAS, PARÁ, BRAZIL – MARCH 20, 2026 In the Bairro Amazonas district, a machete attack occurred on a man identified as Edmundo Barreto Santos. He was attacked by another man with the nickname “Miranda” during an argument about an unknown topic.

He suffered life-threatening injuries and, despite immediate first aid and rapid transport to the hospital, he unfortunately later died. The suspect fled the scene and is likely still successfully hiding from the police to this day – no reports of his arrest have been published so far.
