MOSCOW, RUSSIA When the man’s car broke down in the middle of a Moscow highway, he stopped in the driving lane, got out of the vehicle, and called a towing service. Another driver did not pay enough attention to driving and hit him. The man was thrown into the air and suffered critical injuries, from which he later died in the hospital. The incident was captured by a security camera.
The accident is a sad reminder of basic road safety rules. If your vehicle breaks down in such a busy place as a highway, it is important to follow these steps: pull the vehicle as close to the shoulder as possible, put on a reflective vest (if you have one), and immediately leave both the vehicle and the roadway.
