COSTA RICA – DECEMBER 13, 2025 Driver of a car lost control of the vehicle and drove onto the sidewalk, where he hit a young man who was jogging for fitness. The young man was thrown several feet away and suffered injuries incompatible with life. Excessive speed was likely to blame.
The incident is a harsh reminder of the importance of following traffic rules for all road users. Putting your foot on the gas not only endangers your life, but also the lives of innocent people around you.
