Hit in eye by improvised spear

BANGLADESH During a mass brawl, in which villagers armed themselves with improvised spears, one of them was seriously injured. A thrown spear hit him directly in the eye and embedded itself deeply inside. It can be said he was lucky that the tip did not reach the brain; however, the man will probably never see out of that eye again.
