FREETOWN, SIERRA LEONE – MAY 7, 2026 Serious traffic accident occurred on Rokel Way (Waterloo Highway) in the Freetown area, specifically at a location known as Container Junction near Rokel Junction.
According to initial information from local sources and social media, a container truck was involved in the crash. Estimates suggest that around seven to eight people may have died in the collision and several others were injured. However, the exact number of victims has not yet been officially confirmed.
