When the 40-year-old laborer Rajesh, also known as Maharaj, fell asleep beneath a road overpass near the Kotwali police station, the suspect, 38-year-old Bharat Sahu, returned to the scene and, according to investigators, repeatedly struck him with a wooden stick, primarily targeting his head. The man died at the scene from his injuries.
