BRYANSK OBLAST, UKRAINE Ukrainian FPV drone operator was flying over a battlefield area to survey the scene and document casualties. Among the bodies of fallen Russian soldiers scattered across the area, he spotted a group of pigs that had wandered there and began feeding on the remains.
Sadly, footage like this is not uncommon, as similar situations have been reported frequently during the war. Hungry stray animals often revert to their natural survival instincts and consume anything that can provide them with energy. Many pets and livestock are left behind when their owners are forced to flee because of the fighting. In some cases, animals also become separated from their owners after being frightened by the sounds of gunfire and explosions.
