THANH HÓA, VIETNAM – AUGUST 30, 2026 Car driver was not paying sufficient attention to his surroundings and collided at full speed with two young women who were traveling together on a motorcycle. Both of them were thrown from the motorcycle by the force of the impact and suffered injuries incompatible with life. Preliminary information suggests that the car driver was looking at his phone while driving. However, this information has not yet been officially confirmed, and the accident remains under police investigation.
Neither of the women was wearing a helmet, which unfortunately may have been a life-saving factor in this case as well. Keep this in mind whenever you get on a motorcycle. The human body, especially the head, is very fragile, and wearing a helmet can mean the difference between life and death.
