SURATGARH, RAJASTHAN, INDIA – JUNE 13, 2026 Fatal accident occurred at the New Grain Market. The victim was 42-year-old Sunil Soni, who earned extra money at the market by collecting spilled grain.
According to available information, Sunil was directly in front of a parked truck, collecting wheat grains that had spilled onto the ground. When the driver got into the cab, started the engine, and drove away, Sunil apparently remained in the vehicle’s blind spot. The truck then ran him over, killing him at the scene.
The accident was captured by a security camera. The driver reportedly fled the scene after the incident, while police seized the truck and launched an investigation.
