DOMBKI, KURRAM, KHYBER PAKHTUNKHWA, PAKISTAN – SEPTEMBER 11, 2026 Terrorists from Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) attacked a convoy of Pakistani Frontier Corps Special Operations Group (SOG) troops. According to available information, six elite SOG commandos were killed at the scene in the attack. Following the attack, the militants also reportedly set fire to the armored vehicle in which the unit was traveling.

Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan is an armed Islamist militant organization operating primarily in Pakistan and in areas near the Afghan border. The group seeks to overthrow the Pakistani government and establish a state based on its interpretation of Islamic law. TTP has carried out numerous attacks against security forces and civilians, including bombings, ambushes, and assassinations.
