JIANGSU, CHINA – MARCH 12, 2020 Man was sentenced to death after being found guilty of killing a woman and selling drugs. According to available information, he sold more than 50 grams of drugs, which under Chinese law constitutes a serious drug-related offense.
The man was sentenced to death and executed approximately two years later. The execution was carried out by a police squad at a remote location by shooting.
China is among the countries that still carry out the death penalty, although the exact number of executions is a state secret.
