MEXICO Father of a man who allegedly defected from the Los Chapitos faction linked to the Sinaloa Cartel became the victim of a brutal attack. According to information circulating on social media, the attackers doused him with gasoline, set him on fire, and hurled insults at him during the attack.
This incident is another reminder of the brutal violence that drug cartels resort to when settling scores and punishing real or perceived enemies. People should stay as far away from these organizations and their activities as possible. It is also one of the many reasons to say no to drugs.
