UKRAINE Video reportedly captures a war crime during the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Two soldiers, allegedly Ukrainian, were caught raping an allegedly Russian soldier. The authenticity has not yet been confirmed.
Article 13 of the Geneva Convention states that prisoners of war must be protected against violence, insults to honor, and any form of intimidation. Rape, sexual harassment, or any form of sexual violence is explicitly prohibited. Perpetrators can be brought before an international criminal tribunal.
