MANAUS, BRAZIL – MARCH 18, 2025 In the area known as Ramal Bandeirante in the west of the state of Manaus, a beheaded man was found at the 23rd kilometer of the BR-174 road. He was wrapped in several layers garbage bags.
Forensic examination revealed that the man had been dead for more than 30 hours and his body showed signs of decomposition. There were traces of torture and facial injuries on the body. The victim was wearing a black T-shirt and beige shorts and had a tattoo on his right forearm with a writing and a mask of a character from the movie “V for Vendetta.”
The police are still actively investigating the case and searching, and currently the identity of the victim, the perpetrator, and the motive are unknown.
