Microsleep is a sudden and often unnoticed lapse into sleep, lasting only seconds, but it’s extremely dangerous when driving. To prevent it, experts recommend getting adequate rest, avoiding driving during your usual sleep hours, and taking breaks every couple of hours to stay alert. Sadly, even just a few seconds of fatigue can end in tragedy.
