Rogério sustained severe injuries to his legs, with flesh scraped down to the bone. Emergency responders from SAMU provided immediate medical care and rushed him to the hospital, where he sadly had to undergo an amputation along with a complicated abdominal operation.
Preliminary police findings suggest Rogério was taking dangerous risks, performing stunts on his motorcycle. He reportedly was trying to impress a friend, who was with him after a soccer game, by riding on just the rear wheel – commonly known as a wheelie. This risky behavior may have contributed to the accident.
