MANAUS, AMAZONAS, BRAZIL Body of a woman was discovered in a forested area on the outskirts of Manaus. She had been hogtied, and her entire body bore clear signs of torture. Several gunshot wounds to her head made it evident she had been executed.
The victim’s age was estimated to be around 30. A T-shirt featuring the image of an older woman was wrapped around her neck. It is unclear whether this was a deliberate message from the perpetrator, or if the shirt was simply used as a gag or a strangulation tool.
