UKRAINE Russian soldier stepped on a landmine. The explosion tore off one of his legs completely and caused him severe injuries. His fellow soldiers are trying to transport him to a hospital.
Interesting fact about landmines is that they are not designed to kill. Their purpose is to cause destructive injuries, often leading to limb amputations. A wounded soldier poses a far greater burden to the enemy than a dead one.
