TEIXEIRA DE FREITAS, BAHIA, BRAZIL – MAY 19, 2018 In the early morning hours, a murder was reported on Avenida Gonçalves Ledo in the Bela Vista neighborhood. The victim was a 24-year-old woman identified as Adriana Conceição da Anunciação. She was found lying in a pool of her own blood on the floor of her apartment.

The suspect was arrested at the scene. Danielle Pereira dos Santos, 26, was Adriana’s girlfriend. The two had been living together for about two years. According to available information, an argument between them escalated into a physical fight that ended in murder.
