BRAZIL Woman went for a jog in a wooded area near her home. She encountered a drug addict who took advantage of the fact that no one else was around and robbed her, killing her. She was found several hours later lying face down with a piece of cloth wrapped around her neck, which the attacker used to strangle her. Bruises on her face indicate she was brutally beaten before death.
The autopsy determined the cause of death as strangulation. Rape was ruled out. The perpetrator was caught by police a few days later, but information about his identity is not available.
