MANSO WATRESO, ASHANTI REGION, GHANA – AUGUST 4, 2025 Tragic traffic accident claimed three lives when two motorcycles collided head-on. According to witnesses, an explosion and fire broke out immediately after the crash. The flames engulfed all three people, who burned to death alive.
The gasoline-fueled fire was very difficult, if not impossible, to extinguish. All attempts by local residents to rescue the victims failed. Firefighters eventually brought the flames under control, but by then all three were already charred and dead.
Preliminary investigation results suggest that one of the motorcycles was carrying gasoline in containers, which significantly contributed to the intensity of the fire.
