JINAN, CHINA – JULY 9, 2007 Local powerful politician and city committee chairman, Duan Yihe, needed to get rid of his young mistress. He arranged an assassination on her using a bomb placed in her car. The explosion literally tore her in half. Her upper body flew over 600 feet away.
Duan was arrested shortly after the incident and sentenced to death, which was carried out by lethal injection about a year later.
