Tribal conflict between two African villages escalated into the brutal murder of a man. The video shows villagers dismembering his body post-mortem. The exact motive behind their brutality is unknown.
Such behavior has been observed in some African tribes in certain cases. One reason is pure hatred toward an enemy, where dismemberment follows the “eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth” principle. Another possible motive is ritualistic – such as preventing a spirit’s return or removing perceived supernatural powers. A third reason could be cannibalism, which is still practiced in some remote parts of Africa.
