TEMA, GHANA – MARCH 16, 2026 Plane crash occurred near the capital city of Accra, where a small Sky Arrow 650 ultralight aircraft went down. The plane was flying from the city of Ho and, shortly after losing contact with air traffic control, crashed onto school grounds, where it subsequently caught fire.
There were two men on board who did not survive the accident. Thanks to the quick reaction of the staff, the children and school employees were evacuated before the impact, so no one on the ground was injured. According to witnesses, the plane lost stability and descended sharply before the crash. The cause of the accident has not yet been officially confirmed and is the subject of an investigation.
