Armed man shot by Chicago police

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS, USA – FEBRUARY 13, 2024 Intervention by Chicago police officers ended in a shooting. While investigating a group of suspicious people standing near a parked car, one of them fled the scene. He was holding a firearm as he ran past another police patrol. The officer pronounced the situation extremely dangerous and fired without hesitation. The 20-year-old suspect was shot and transported to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition.
