SOUTH AFRICA – NOVEMBER, 2025 Group of armed robbers attempted to raid an armored truck transporting money from a bank. The robbery attempt was interrupted by a swift police response, which led to a shootout.
One of the robbers was hit in the leg, which paralyzed him. Once the police gained control of the scene, his accomplices fled and left him behind. Trapped and injured, he chose to turn his weapon on himself rather than surrender to the police. He committed suicide by shooting himself in the head.
